Application

If you want to apply as a trader to participate at the Festival Village 2024 we ask you to send an e-mail to: markt@moers-festival.de

To decide we need you to provide a description and pictures of the products and the stand.

It is also important to ensure that the electricity requirement is stated precisely (e.g. 16A CEE, 8 kW) and if you need access to (drinking-)water.

A decision will be made promptly during the ongoing process, and all applicants will receive a notification of acceptance or rejection.

You will receive a confirmation and a contract from us - only when the stand fee has been transferred the final agreement will be settled.

Stand size and fees

The stand fee for non-food stands is 120€ per running meter with an included depth of 4m. From the 4th running meter onwards, each additional meter costs 75€. From the 4th meter depth onwards each additional meter costs 60€. The stands are set up using the traders own materials and infrastructure. The stand fee for food offerings is subject to agreement. Despite the ongoing inflation, we have maintained our stand fees compared to last year.

Assembly and dismantling

The Festival Village opens on Friday, May 17th, 2024 at 3 p.m. The assembly begins on Thursday, May 16th, 2024, from 10 a.m.
Dismantling begins on Monday, May 20th, 2024 from around 10 p.m.
These are estimated times and may be adjusted in the coming months - in this case, traders will be informed in a timely manner.

Dismantling the stand may not begin before the Festival Village closes.

The organizer cannot accept any liability for the goods and stands exhibited. The stand area must be left tidy, without damage and free of rubbish.

Electricity / Water

The fees for electricity and water are collected directly on site in cash by the electrical and plumbing company (see contract for costs).

Shared use by third parties / subletting

Shared use of the stand by third parties is only permitted after consultation and approval by the organizer. Subletting is not permitted.

Advertising / marketing / press

A promising marketing and advertising campaign can only be installed if the permission to use the exhibitor's image and text material for the press, web, social media - and on printed material is granted. The invited press and media representatives have unhindered access and usage rights to image, sound and text material.

Traders are also invited to take photos, film and use the material for advertising purposes during the festival. It is possible to display your own advertising material at your own stand.

Goods

The trader only offer the goods mentioned in the contract. The sale of food and drinks is not permitted, with the exception of traders who have registered a drinks or food stand. Self-catering is allowed.

Cancellation Conditions

The contract is binding upon payment of the stand fees. A decision on whether you wish to withdraw from your contract will be made on a case-by-case basis up to 14 days before the Festival Village opens. This also includes the refund of fees already paid. After the 14 day period has expired, 50% of the fees will be retained.

Liability and Compensation

Entering the event site is at your own risk. Any liability of the organizer is therefore excluded. The organizer assumes no liability for injuries, theft, losses or damage to property incurred by the trader or third parties during, before or after the event.

The organizer is not liable for changes to dates or cancellations or events due to force majeure.

Changes

Changes to the basic settlements above will be stated in the contract.
