Three musicians – Angelika Niescier, Tomeka Reid, and Eliza Salem – come together to challenge boundaries. Their music is precise and direct, stripped of ornament, driven by energy and clarity of intention. In continuous exchange, they explore sonic spaces that shift between structure and freedom: at times transparent and focused, then powerful and full of motion.
Niescier’s compositions provide the framework – complex, fluid, and organically evolving. Reid adds the deep resonance of the cello, while Salem shapes the sound with rhythmic acuity and subtle dynamics.
