DDDR (DE)

The Dachdeckende Randgruppe (DDDR) is a DIY performance collective from Dortmund. They stand for naive and accessible (performance) art, noise, music, and various other forms of mischief.

Without an academic art background, the group was founded out of a criticism that performance art in particular is often presented in an overly pretentious and elitist way, making it inaccessible to many people. As a response, their work thrives on humor, self-irony, and chaos.
