KNOBIL (CH)

Louise Knobil and her project Knobil work at the intersection of jazz, pop, improvisation and poetic performance. At its core is her voice, often combined with double bass and electronic elements, creating intimate, playful and at the same time experimental sonic spaces.
Knobil moves between songwriting and free improvisation, using humour, everyday observations and personal texts as starting points for her music. This results in both concise, pointed pieces and open forms that unfold in the moment.
The project functions as a flexible format that connects stage performance, improvisation and narrative elements, deliberately moving across genres and modes of expression.
