Motoko Honda (Japan/USA) is a masterful improviser, composer, and sound artist who presents exciting and captivating live concerts as well as interdisciplinary and immersive installations in jazz clubs, theaters, museums, and public spaces. Honda’s musical style is a unique blend of contemporary
classical music, free jazz, and electroacoustic music, and her performances can be tailored to a wide variety
of venues and settings. Honda is also available for site-specific projects, talks, and lecture-performances for students, professionals, or the general public. She will perform in Moers with Bart Maris, Improviser in Residence 2025.
