Die Röhre

Once upon a time there were two heretics of sound from distant lands: the rebellious flautist Mauricio from Colombia and the British singer and string-sorceress Heidi. They were called Witch ’n’ Monk. With flutes carved from ancient forests, a voice like a storm over a black sea, a snarling electric guitar and flickering machines, they forged a realm of sound that obeyed no law.

Mauricio’s flutes howl, splinter, and transform beneath untamed hands. Heidi’s soprano blazes white-hot, dissolving into smoke in the very next breath. Their music thrives on conflict: light against shadow, tenderness against revolt, order against anarchy. And so they wandered along the edges of kingdoms, celebrated by scholars and the underground alike.
